Bookswap Game

Find out more about this fun game (in two parts) which is scheduled to take place on the Saturday afternoon of the Unconvention.


Bookrays are available for books by each of the confirmed Unconvention authors. Visit this page to find out more or to sign up to read one of the available books. Our confirmed authors at the moment are Stephen Booth, Catherine Cooper and Eve Makis.

Not So Secret

The giving of a gift to another BookCrosser which has become a traditional part of the Unconvention weekend. Not So Secret because the BookCrossing registered books let you know who your parcel is from! Visit this News post to find out more details and how to sign up.

Saturday Evening Meals

Visit the dedicated page to find out about the options for groups meals on the Saturday evening of Unconvention. We have four official options to choose between: a traditional pub / restaurant, a tandoori restaurant, an Italian bar / restaurant and an ‘all you can eat’ Chinese featuring Brazilian Spitroast barbecue.

Sunday Release Walk

Our traditional Sunday morning release walk will be a little different this year. As well as visiting many of the sights of central Nottingham, we will be incorporating an I-Spy treasure hunt (with prizes) as well as the Hats Off to BookCrossing flashmob (see below).
