All About footymadgill

I joined Bookcrossing in June 2009.  I had always left my books on hotel bookshelves and wondered where they would end up then   I heard about book crossing while reading a book called “How I lived on a pound a day”.    It was more towards the end of 2009 that I really got interest in Bookcrossing and now you can’t keep me off it!

This will be my first Uncon and I am apprehensive but excited.  I am looking forward to meeting some old friends but as a newbie I am looking forward to making lots more!  I have been registering books for release and checking wishlists to see if I can grant any of these…I have a few surprises!

Outside of bookcrossing, my hobbies include reading, film watching and Zumba.  I have just signed myself up for the Zumbathon to be held at Alexandra Palace in October, raising funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Cure Cancer and Susan G. Komen for the Cure Global Promise fund.  It seemed a good idea at the time but I am now thinking, why?

My other main loves are my cats.   I have Jess who is a ginger female (15 yrs), Fletch who is a black boy (13 yrs) and Fletch’s sister Biscuit who is a torty female (13 yrs).    I do voluntary work with Croydon Cats Protection where I hold a stall at the bazaar and a stall at their homing day.  All of my cats are from Cats Protection.

I look forward to seeing you all there.
